No, the free upgrade period is for one year. You get support and access to Windows 10 for the life of the product after that.

It gets more people inclined to subscribe Office 365, which is quickly becoming Microsoft's newest cash cow.

They're demoing it to press as we speak.

Drink every time Phil Spencer says "Epic"

Because marketing teams for large tech firms are some of the dumbest people around.

How to sell an upgrade of Windows 10 to the general consumer: Announce that Master Chief Collection will come will all versions of Windows 10.

Meh, I'm given a healthy selection of "free" games to play with PS+ every month that warrants the $4.16 a month I spend on the service.

The difference is FF XIV is extremely popular and has kept a large sub base since the launch of 2.0.

Nope, and if you got that from my comment, your reading comprehension needs some work.

Yup, and stocks do that. It's all reactionary. The stock prices rebounded shortly after that.

"I was hoping after the fiasco with AC Unity being so broken upon release they'd have learned a BIT of a lesson for their DLC."

Hopefully Kotaku will run everything by you in the future on what to and what not to run.

Kotaku's still getting you to click and comment on it, so they must be doing something right.

And the 2013 disappointment list is linked at the top. Nope, no Bayonetta 2 there either. My point stands.

They did. Capcom does not have the revenue stream to fund its development. Many insiders predicted a complete bankruptcy and shut-down of Capcom by the end of the year. Sony tossed them a ton of money to stay on life support.

It's the same reason why Bayonetta 2 being a Wii U exclusive isn't on the list. Without Nintendo, Bayonetta 2 would not have happened. Without Sony, SF5 would not happen (it's sad how far Capcom has fallen — it's on life support).

Ground Zeros and The Phantom Pain are two different things.
