“MSNBC demands an extra nickle and that you stop laughing at them and spitting directly in their face”

If you take away an addict’s Oxy, they don’t switch to coffee. They go find heroin.

Basically everybody in Rogue One treats the one practitioner of the Force as if he’s an eccentric who needs to be humored so long as he keeps getting the job done.

Those Jedi can also wave their hand and make you forget you ever saw them.

You know if you just wait 7 weeks you can binge all you like.

I feel like the real problem with the trilogies is that they are trying to be about something, but that thing is always “Sometimes people have to decide between being good or evil” and literally nothing else. They’ve spent nine goddamn movies and 42 years on that very simple concept.

Carlin has had entire bad specials. I'm pretty sure he forgot to tell jokes in his final few shows.

If I can ask a serious question, are the two holes in front its nose or its eyes?

Some of his bits were good.

Just as a warning, bitching about vertically shot videos is going to be the Millennial generation’s“OK Boomer” moment one day.

I’ve only watched the Home Alone one, but the Eddie Murphy stuff has been in 1000 stories about Ghostbusters. I’m going to watch it eventually though. They’re really well done.

Was a good monologue. Would have been great if Ernie Hudson walked on stage and said “No, really. Thank you, Eddie Murphy.”

I’m not sure it defied expectations as much as coped out of telling a story that it didn’t like, but had agreed to continue. The truth is, there is nothing regulatory in Rey not being a Skywalker (I’m assuming this is the point of departure that you’re alluding to, as others have cited it before), because we already

I dislike it because there’s a whole bunch of goofy BS sprinkled about and it’s clearly a zany slapstick comedy at points, and then a super serious drama at other points. The tone doesn’t work.

Having D+ and going back to see Empire Strikes Back, I’ve gotta say, the movie wasn’t *that* great. I’m not saying it was bad, or even less than good, and it’s always going to be an important chapter in the history of blockbuster movies. But it’s not beyond reproach either. It’s not a perfect movie, and in my opinion,

I couldn’t imagine truly embracing The Memphis Design aesthetic as a lifestyle. That’s just a lot.

I don’twant to blow your mind but sometimes I’ll rewatch something a second time to see if I’ve missed something. And I’ll generally give Paul Thomas Anderson a few shots. And sometimes my friends want to watch the something and I go with the flow because I’m not a controlling weirdo. Also, you’ll notice I never

This feels very Buzzfeed-y, and not as AV Clubby as I’m comfortable with.

My wife always drinks tomato juice on flights, and only drinks tomato juice on flights. I’d laugh more, but for whatever reason I always crave Coca Cola when I’m in Europe. It doesn’t taste any different, and it’s not as if I’m missing home, but even still...every single time I go over there, I find myself wanting the

Again, I really don’t see it. He seems exceedingly fine. I don’t feel as though I’m watching one of the modern greats like Philip Seymour Hoffman or JK Simmons. He’s perfectly adequate, and that’s cool. A lot of actors can’t manage that. But we’re making a much bigger deal about this than I feel is deserved. He’s
