Blade was absolutely not an obscure character in the late 90s which is exactly why he got a movie. The 90s was when gritty comic books were the top tier. Blade, Ghost Rider, Wolverine, etc.

You got to see what’s gonna work. The creative team is put together to sit down and put a great idea on the table. Sometimes the concept doesn’t work out.

I still say the whole thing could have been vastly improved with one small change. They shouldn’t have had the bells ring. Will all the mad dashing the story did to reach the finish, Danny’s reaction to the bells makes so little sense. Her turn to mad queen makes perfect sense but the jolt of how it happened is crazy.

Please MARVEL, no scenes of anything post Endgame. I want this to fit right in with my MCU rewatch. Natasha deserves that much.

Black Panther is directly after Civil War timeline wise. One of the first scenes in the film has a news report saying the airport fight took place 2 weeks ago.

There were 98 (well profiled) films directed by Women in 2019. You can review then with a simple Google search. Unfortunately almost the entire 98 I have never even heard of and The biggest ones like Captain Marvel and Frozen 2 for example we’re Co-Directed by women who were partnered with men. I figured Little Women,

I tried it when it was first released and didn’t care for it. I started it up again when the Let’s Go games said you could transfer monsters. Played it for a little over a year and quit when I had still lot encountered a Ditto after playing just about everyday and not being able to progress in three of my quest things

So Gamefreak wanted to sell us DLC and knew the only way anybody would be willing to spend cash on new areas to explore would be to hold some of the Pokedex hostage until they DLC released. Think about it if all 800+ monsters were in the base game how interested in paying for new maps would you be? Answer, alot

I don’t see how the fact that disgusting perverts getting turned on by a commonplace outfit for young children is anybody’s responsibility. If anybody sees a young girl in a school uniform and finds said child sexually attractive that person is a scumbag. I’m not a pedo so seeing the skin invokes no sexual desire and

Absolutely this. The problem with everything Star Wars after the original trilogy has been that they keep being rooted in the original Star Wars trilogy. Even The Last Jedi was a slave to the original trilogy despite its entire message being to let it die. It being the second chapter in a trilogy that was a retread of

It’s precisely because there are thousands of these VFX companies across the world. When you have a surplus in any industry some studios are going to get overlooked constantly. Then the choice becomes bid the job for peanuts or close up shop. The former ends up is disaster too since if you have to low ball every job

I don’t know what people were expecting from this film after TLJ left the story and characters no place to go. I liked a lot of TLJ but as a second chapter in a Trilogy it was terrible for so many reasons. I feel bad for J.J. actually because he had no choice but to ignore TLJ in this film. I imagine he could have

He didn’t take anything in any direction and that was the real problem with TLJ imo. He took all the dangling threads from TFA and cut them clean off then set up nothing new. He wiped the slate clean and then ended the film. It’s a real shame because TLJ had some of the best scenes in all of Star Wars, but the

These same exact tweets are being posted all over the internet except this article here on io9 has left of the several which talk about how this film is very much an apology for The Last Jedi. No other article I’ve seen has done that except on this site.

This is the kind of thing that if you told six year old me playing on my NES that this was the future of videogames I’d tell you to eat my shorts. I’m very glad that everybody enjoyed this however I’m old and I know it’s not for me but it just sounds so goddamn terrible I can’t help but laugh.

I guess they have to do something to make these interesting. These FX break downs were cool when you got to see what was practical and what was CGI and how they meshed. Now these are just “Everything is fake and computer generated” that’s not interesting to see in the slightest.

Maybe my favorite thing about this new Star Wars flick is the verbal gymnastics everyone involved is doing to not say The Last Jedi sucked and Johnson really derailed this whole franchise.

It’s common knowledge that a full three film guideline was written. Rian Johnson said he threw out the rough draft and notes he was given for his film and decided to just do his own thing.

Who is this for anyway? Certainly not kids. I’ve not see any of the live action remakes and Mulan was the one I said I’d see. With no music and looking like a rip off of the 30 something Chinese war epics to get a direct to dvd release in the last several years, I can’t see this appealing to anyone.

I like how you give out false information in the article and then at the end, after a ad, you put a footnote saying that you lied in the article. And we’re all worried about click-bait fluff stories on Facebook.
