Y’all just called out the names of my sister’s last three dogs. I’m serious.
I sure hope their other sister, Sierra, is holding up ok.
I bet Aspen’s sister Willow is also very upset about this incident. I see years of counseling in their future.
drive thrus don’t allow walk up traffic. horses be walkin.
hey we’re neighbors! even easier to hunt you now!
not a problem man, you would probably be better off making friends with a local used dealer and not try to cold call around, I think regular salespeople at franchised dealerships don’t usually have the authority to buy inventory or just don’t want to waste their time. (funny story, the open to the public dealer forums…
i thought 250 was because of the 500 discount you listed. also, you’re replacing this after 125k miles...how many do you drive a year!! i’m at like 8k.
hi, ex-used car dealer here, just want to give my take on this: BMW financial services doesn’t actually hold the auctions, it’s usually outsourced to one of the big auction networks like Manheim or adesa. every car maker who has lease returns does this. quality can vary, though the lease returns are always inspected…
how do you get to invoice price (i assume what dealer pays?) instead of MSRP?
This sounds like you literally found the most perfect way to own a vehicle. I’d love this expanded on and for Tom to chime in and add his input on your scenario.
Check the cell references for the money factor if it’s giving your problems. The bottom line formula has the CA tax hard-coded instead of referencing the value in B17, maybe that happens somewhere else.
Wow- very interesting info indeed. I had no idea you could go below the residual! Well done.
Damn Michael B Jordan can even make roofs wet (I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry for this joke, I’m so sorry)
Pretty cool tool, haven’t figured out how to accurately adjust the money factor things but thanks for sharing.
you certainly won the BMW leasing game.
Can you negotiate the residual price at the end of a lease turn-in? Have an A6 whose lease will be up in about a year; love the car, well under the mileage. Would consider keeping the car if I could find a way to negotiate the residual down...
That sounds like an amazing tool! Do you care to share that with more people? Namely me hehe.
“devil you know” and all that.
Can you explain your European Delivery bit a little more, please? Are you able to lease a car that you order through European Delivery?! So you basically custom ordered a car, got a discount on it to pick it up in Europe, got a trip out to Germany, drove around Europe in the car, had it shipped back to you, leased it…
Interesting story, I never realized that was possible.
