I didn’t call in, but I got up early to watch then checked news online every chance I had that day. I *might* even be guilty of putting a class or two (elementary music) on a DVD so I could catch up on the latest pics.

I was a heartbeat away from booking a flight. Damn my luck.

I noticed the same and would gladly put up with a cold/flu as a possible outcome. But I’m not a fan of sick, whining men either so I’d hit it and run. And I wouldn’t forget to grab the Cheetos on my way out.

Fellow teacher here, and the day they tell me I should carry a gun to work is the day I quit. I’d be too tempted to shoot a problem parent or two.

I’ve taught in a rural county in southern MI for 22 years and in all that time, not one district in the entire county has ever had a school nurse. That’s a luxury no one can afford thanks to the pittance we receive from the state.

Yes! So much good story potential but the writers took the lazy way out. I’ll watch a couple more episodes, but they would REALLY have to make some big reversals in viewpoint to hook me in.
