Came down here to say this. I’m not at all surprised at the markup on new 4 Runners because a used one can go for current MSRP or dang close to it, even without the pandemic supply chain issues.

My issue has been I know that I can get better at managing it, and I can learn techniques to help, but it will never truly go away.

This is so me. Sometimes I want to blow my brains out.

For me I went almost 2 decades without treatment.... I only recently started treatment in the last couple years through the VA.

Agree with sentiment (and the acknowledgement that the article is perfectly fine.) I’m not criticizing the article or the advice. But in practice it can sound like a too-common refrain:

I agree with the “left lane on the highway” comments people are including. Totally on board. Instead of repeating it, I’ll add a sort of counterpoint:

The news van won’t get there before you can find clothes or a sheet to wrap yourself in.

What’s the length of the cargo area with the second row down? I’m very tall, so I can’t fit just anywhere, and I get frustrated when all they ever report is cubic feet. Total area doesn’t tell me anything about the shape of the area.

No set up / tear down. But it’s not necessarily either/or. Works great when I’m only staying in one place for the night.  Can set up camp if I’m somewhere I’m going to stay a couple days.

All of this is rules about being poor written by people who have no recent experience with the realities of being poor — they’ve either never been poor, or grew up poor in the 50s when you could go see a moving picture for a nickel or whatever.
