This is the equivalent of stealing somebody’s look on RuPaul’s Drag Race but doing it so poorly that it just calls attention to your own pettiness.

Drats. I was hoping the surprise ending involved Gael Garcia Bernal popping up out of nowhere to lead Jyn and Cassian into a night of sizzling romance at a cantina on a South American beach.

Most likely Reggie but Veronica’s father Hiram Lodge is not out of the question especially if he is killed accidentally by either Reggie or Archie. Seems like somebody who’s dead in the TV show (like Jason Blossom) might also be a candidate.

Would it have killed them to give us her 1970s’s costume? Those ears are certain to cast fear in the heart of enemies.

It’s kind of like I had a dream of the perfect movie and it came to fruition. This appears to be everything I desire from an action film — the tight plotting of a Bourne film, the lush glamour of a Bond film, the sleekness of a Matrix film. AND with a female protagonist from a person who know gives excellent

Wonder Woman’s strength is divinely drawn. She doesn’t even need to work out!

Interestingly Rogue had more screen time in this film than in Days Of Future Past.

Instead of ice, they should have had the date tattooed on Kit Harrington’s ass and had him do a slow striptease. Fans could enter STRIP JON while he grumbled about not seeing this provision in his contract with the studio.

Are you insane? Give me Helsinki anyday over freakin’ Oslo.

EVIL!

Only a person willfully naive would really think this is ‘temporary’. We already had an excellent vetting process in place. This isn’t to improve the vetting. It is meant to install a new method of permanent closure. Trump literally said he was going to do this at his rallies, and he’s got Steve Bannon to help him do

By its explicit nature, it’s an immigration ban. By its implicit bias, it is a Muslim ban. Anyway you slice it, it’s a BAN. More importantly, we should see it not as ‘temporary’ in anyway, but a first step in a long process of dangerous isolationism. Straight from America’s underarm.

At this point Infinity War will look more like a comic book convention than an actual comic book movie.

Actually in the 1920s there were a great many white-only clubs in Harlem and there wouldn’t have been any people of color there except in performing or serving roles. The Josephine elf thing was weird though.

Ruth is so fantastic in Loving. I’m rooting for her to win (although Natalie Portman was breathtaking in Jackie). I don’t have anything against Emma Stone but she should win Best Actress for a film where she’s an average-at-best singer.

Now playing

Reminds me of Mark Kermode’s review of a film called Love’s Kitchen starring Gordon Ramsay as himself. “Gordon Ramsay, acting as Gordon Ramsay, is a sight to behold. It’s like he’s not actually human.”

I think Ghostbusters was a failed — but not necessarily bad — attempt. It didn’t really add up, but individual moments really propped it up. And I would go one further and say that Kate McKinnon delivered one of the best comic performances of the year.

These are more creative than past nominations and representing a wide range of stinkers. Thank you, nominating committee, for recognizing The Entire Cast of Once Respected Actors for Collateral Beauty.
