And the really shocking part is that the Spark is actually a big improvement over the Aveo it replaced!

Looks to me like it was catching the truck ahead and was attempting to pass in the left lane.

Probably depends on how lenient your state is. I'm sure it's possible in some places if you play your cards right. Where I live (Hawaii) there'd be no chance, unless you got it registered somewhere else first and managed to get a title issued.

Surprised Haas didn't just buy Marussia outright. Yeah, he'd be buying some debt, but would also get the prize money from this year, right? Now it seems that prize money may well go unclaimed.

Sixty computers seems like a lot, but if you drive a high end luxury car that's fully loaded with all the electronic options, it's certainly possible. I'm a volvo mechanic, and the newer cars can have over 30 different computer modules on board.

The fans may have been just as drunk, but it seems the cops who patrol the games were much cooler.

Yup totally agree. The speed of the turnaround really highlights it.

Likely there are laws governing the height of crosswalk buttons so children and handicapped folks can use them. Super cool. I want that in America badly.

Awesome. Not to take anything away from the drivers, because I'm sure putting down 10,000 horsepower takes skill, but this really show how drag racing is at the highest level is really a sport for the mechanics and racing engineers.

Yikes. I think I'd rather any old SUV into combat rather than take my chances with that.

Excellent. Sorry didn't mean to imply ignorance. And I totally agree with you about the colors.

Volvo Master Tech here: I take issue with some of the Volvo argument. The S60. V70, XC70, S80 and XC90 from 2000-ish until 2008-ish do indeed all share most of their underpinnings. So while the S80 is really just a stretched S60, the S40 and V50 are based on an entirely different platform—one shard between the C30,…

How is this going to work with the new Renault engine? I could be wrong, but as far off the pace as Renault were this season, surely their 2015 engine won't just drop in to the 2014 car?

For me it's the smell of a real tree that makes it worth it.

Really if you want a shot at flying in the military, you need to have gone though an ROTC program, or if you're older, have a math or science degree that'll let you get into an officer program. (If you're past college age already.) Usually once you're over 27, you can't just go enlist anymore.

A lot of people hate on Red Bull for this...but personally I love them for it. F1 should be all about pushing the limits like this. The teams to their jobs, and the steward do theirs.

Well it looks like they needed to back the plane up....so I'd imagine that wouldn't really do the trick...

Maybe the original XJ Cherokee if anything. I'd say the opposite for the Grand Cherokee I'm afraid...

You should either have arm restraints or a window net. This is why.

I hope they don't get in any legal trouble. While I personally find it distasteful that some people would choose to take and share such photos, restricting what people can photograph and share just seems way to draconian for me.
