I would still play this game 20+ hours a week if I could find a team that actually ENJOYS playing comp and doesn’t just do the placement matches and then bail. Yes, I’m a support. Yes, I’ve never gotten past silver. But that’s because I am forced to solo queue.

Ugh, I thought we got over this “exclusive demo” stuff last gen. Don’t they want to hit their servers with as many players as possible to in order to optimize for that on launch day?
This and Animal Crossing are the only reasons I would buy a Switch...not even sure I trust Retro to fix whatever was broken. Most of the talent that made the first three games already left the studio.
Hell yes. I love Mirror’s Edge. I bought the sequel on launch day despite the bad review scores. Need more parkour games. (Yes, I know Titanfall has similar wall running.)
Does the gear affect your character in online play? If I recall correctly, it did for Injustice 2 which is one of the reasons I bounced off that game so quickly. I get they probably make millions off it in microtransactions, but it seems antithetical to what a fighting game should be.
They need a category specifically for stand-up comedy...

I think this list is a good example of why I have almost zero interest in a switch. Almost all of these are indie ports or ports of Nintendo games from other consoles.

I know it’s blasphemous to say this, but I kinda hope they start a new series after this. Sure, one or two more D2 expansions would be nice, but I want to see what other kinds of stories they can tell.

It’s great they are doing this...but for me, it’s too little too late. I hung on through D1 despite all the annoyances. I wanted to hang on for Forsaken—had a supportive clan and everything—but eventually had to prioritize my time so much that sinking time into grinding for some gun I may or may not get just seemed…
One thing I’ve learned over the years is to never get your hopes up for something Nintendo might do.
