Yes, and there are several pre-Perry albums that didn't sell well but that are very jammy.

I don't hate Billy Joel, but I respect that you don't like his work. I'm not a huge fan of Meatloaf, but that's more a function of a really bad date soundtracked by Bat Out of Hell.

"There’s not a huge difference between ’70s Journey and ’80s Journey"

Let me be the first to stand up and say Journey is great, even the over-played singles are great(with a little distance to re-appreciate them) and the deep cuts that most people don't know about are very good too.

"This looks like Saved By The Bell to me. Like, straight out of Saved By The Bell."

They're the Cadillac of worms!

No ma'am, dry.

It's still great. It's still funny, and the chemistry among the cast is fantastic.

Ooo that's interesting!

"the bass in particular is an afterthought instead of counterpoint or melodic."

"Metallica probably is the most successful example"

"The core of the songs still feels very much of a kind with Green Days other work."

"It makes sense now."

"punk proto-solos."

"the first four tracks of Nimrod all have guitar solos."

Yes. I could do a few right now, and, I like to think, do better than "I just don't like it!"

"there's nothing much different about American Idiot than their previous stuff"

What the what?

Also, can we find somebody besides relatively unknown comedians to feature in this…feature?

So…there's this internet rumor/theory that's been floating around for years. It posits that Green Day was tanking, and the label hired pros to write American Idiot for them.
