On Millennium Terry O’Quinn was just a nice, friendly guy who secretly worked for a group that was trying to murder everyone and bring about the end of the world (uh, spoiler alert)

I would love to see a Halloween sequel that tied the Laurie Strode/Michael Myers storyline together with the events of Season of the Witch. Someone make that happen!

There was an spooky old Dreamcast game called Fatal Frame where you were wandering around a haunted house trying to catch pictures of ghosts with a camera. I’ve often thought *that* would make a great AR game, where you hold your phone up and the screen displays the view from the camera with a ghost super-imposed over Read more

Evil looks like a weird mix of The Exorcist and Millennium, but with Ben from Lost as a demon and Luke Cage as a priest! I could be into it

“Now, at a time when the noble profession of journalism feels under siege, it’s a privilege to join the club of actresses who have played the dogged reporter. As far back as 1938 when she first appeared in Action Comics #1, Lois Lane has defied and subverted society’s expectations of how women should behave. She

Adventure Time will always remember me of college. It was my first year of art school and I bonded with a lot of my classmates over the series. It really wasn’t like anything else on TV and changed the cartoon landscape. Adventure Time gave us space for Steven Universe, Bee & Puppycat, Bravest Warriors, and OK-KO. Read more

This show really gave me my love of backstory and fan-theories, and reinforced my love for the bittersweet happy-sad feels. (Looking at you, I Remember You!) Thanks for making me more of a nerd who’s not afraid of feels.

Looking forward to seeing Tom Scharpling cast in Ant-Man 3, just like in the first two, only to be cut from the movie at the last moment. Read more

The animated JL Hawkgirl has become my go to incarnation to the point that I wish she had taken off to the point that she would have been the DC version of Captain Marvel - an improved version of an original conceit that eventually became the default. Read more

It was a very physical character. To play somebody with her kind of issues was something I’d never done before. The way she looks at life is a little skewed.

I’m a little saddened to see no love for Maggie Grace’s leading woman action movie, The Hurricane Heist. She’s going from being saved THREE TIMES by daddy Liam Neeson in the Taken movies to doing the ass-kicking herself. It looks like fun and feels a touch self-aware (the use of The Scorpions’ “Rock You Like A

Hey they spent a lot of time crafting that hidden affair part. You know, the totally forgettable bit that could have been removed at no expense to any part of the plot?

I enjoyed the movie for the visuals and the premise (is there any other media that can be described as simultaneously cosmic horror and gorgeous?) but I was struck by how everytime the film needlessly attempts to explain itself it makes the movie dumber/worse. Read more
