But you're supposed to actually distinguish between thoughts and feelings in CBT, because they're not the same thing. So if you said "I feel like you always attack me," a CBT therapist would help you clarify that it's actually a thought you're expressing. The difference is that thoughts can be analyzed and adapted,

I actually think the ACTs are fairer than the SATs in some ways. With the SATs, it's easier to get an economic advantage (although economic advantages exist for both tests). The ACTs are based more on academic work as opposed to things you would learn only by paying a $1500 dollar Kaplan or Princeton Review class. But

I used that when I was in college. It worked wonders, but now the acne has come back with pregnancy. I'm assuming it won't last longer than the 9 months though.

Retinoids? Two birds with one stone?

In my mid-30s. I have acne now from being pregnant, and I have no idea what to do about it except wear tons of makeup.

I shelled out to take a Kaplan class because I had barely taken math in high school, and my score was raised by 200 points. Other people who put in more time than I did raised their scores by even more, up to the high 1500s from an average score. I think you can also buy online classes/materials for a cheaper cost

This is what confused me. I'm in my mid-thirties and thought it would take me ages to get pregnant, so we started trying earlier than I would have liked to get pregnant. Turns out it happened immediately, with hardly any effort.

Oh god - Atreyu's horse! I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

That is a very interesting way of looking at it. Thanks for the insight.

I know. The roles she plays would more accurately be credited to "played by Keira Knightly's mouth."

I need to see that.

I also love that when you read about they early psychoanalysts, they were constantly trying to one-up each other with their insights into each others' neuroses. "Well, you just think that because you're neurotic." "No you're neurotic!" Etc.

"Some areas of inquiry have been refined and expanded, while others abandoned and dismissed altogether in favor of new theories. This is good. This is how science advances."

I had a coworker in the UK who made land art, also known as "crop circles." Once, on a lark, he used the logo of our company in a crop circle to see if it would show up on any mystical websites, which it did http://www.lastofdays.co.za/cropcircles/29…

Since magic is often based on use of a certain language (say, Latin, or a made up magical language), do you think this is sort of a basic concept that many stories draw upon, except in some books it's more clearly articulated than others? I'm working on a book now in which I'm using the Angelic language/Enochian as

I like magic that is rooted in something historic or in some kind of existing or folk practices. I would say I like my magic to be less like a fully explained science, and more like a religion.

Yes - I have a friend who makes horror movies. He said "by the time the movie is made, so many people have weighed in on it, that in the end it's no one's vision."

I think her nose, chin and jawbone are much smaller, and then she had her lips done. Her eyebrows look very different, but that's probably not related to plastic surgery. I'm wondering how she does them actually. She might have a really good technique for drawing them on.

She has had some very, very good plastic surgery - the kind that makes me think, hey, maybe I should get plastic surgery!
