That’s not actually true. TV networks don’t operate on “there’s no such thing as bad coverage” - a show can absolutely get canned if the powers that be decide it’s a PR liability.

They also canceled Moral Orel before it’s time despite it winning an Emmy (the first [AS] original to do so, I think) and still being really popular with fans.

They can be petty, arrogant, and highly obnoxious, but there’s enough diversity in the R&M fanbase that I can say the assholes are in the extreme (but vocal) minority.
