It’s like you generalized an entire group of people based on the loud minority. The GB community, the ones that dress up and have been cosplaying and doing charity and community work all around the country and in Europe and Asia as well may not have liked that 2016 wasn’t a continuation of the franchise but supported

The best Ghostbusters continuation already exists, in the form of the video game paired with the excellent IDW comic series.

This is fantastic news! (although I’ll never understand why they didn’t do this concept with the 2016 movie)

I will point out that for all that the recaps thought the Mirror Universe reveal was bullshit, all of the recaps of the episodes leading up to that reveal also thought that it was also bullshit to have a morally complex Starfleet officer traumatized by the horrors of war because this is Star Trek and everything should

Yeah, but then you would be one of those weirdo’s that talks to all their friends about emulators.

Because games are great and I believe we should take them seriously.

I prefer this to almost any other ear bud for gaming, I’ve been replacing mine on eBay every year or so. It allows enough audio bleedthrough for my surround sound to still be effective while hearing my party chat.

What a great article about how someone can have a variety of complex, nuanced—and, most importantly—evolving viewpoints about not just a divisive topic, but all the sexist/misogynistic baggage around that character. Thank you for writing this.

Totally disagree with this... The Tomb Raider reboot series has been one of my favorites since its launch in 2013. If we can’t get Uncharted on PC, this has been the next best thing. My main criticism of the game(s) is that they’ve been held back a bit by the amount of collectibles scattered throughout the maps. The

People are going to be pissed when they find out the thing in Erin’s basement was the friends they made along the way.

So like... how many maps are there? How many game types are available in multiplayer? How’s the matchmaking UI? How many guns? Are the guns locked behind personal level and/or challenges of some sort? What is the tick rate of the servers? Do you have the option of choosing a server? How many classes are there? What

Following the twist, their rivalry morphs into a story about a white woman seeking to unseat a multiracial, black woman from her social station—specifically by exposing the truth about her heritage. The term “half-breed” should be seen as quite loaded in this context.

I feel no show does everything perfectly. Can we just be happy that there are shows out there trying to garnish new perspective instead of demonizing everyone who doesn’t do it perfectly.

Reminds me of my fold-able Targus keyboard for my Handspring Visor

(Shoutout to my fellow 30+ year old nerds)

Actually using humans for giant robot mo-cap might have been a bad choice here. In the first movie they specifically didn’t use motion capture because they wanted the giant robots to have a ponderous, weighty motion that made them feel massive. Plus, with motion capture, you have to make your digital character have

Nah, I thought this season was awesome. And I think it’s pretty weird that this site lambasted Discovery for weeks about how ~untrue to Federation ideals its ethos was, and is now critiquing it for staying too true to Federation ideals.

...the company is adding a weird new one: Metropolis, a series set... before the Man of Tomorrow actually arrived.
