Also came here to say this. I’ve been avoiding trailers and everything, trying to go into this blind. I’m actually pretty mad that this was spoiled for me now.

I think its time to take a break from i09 till I see this and get through a few other things I’m worried will get spoiled for me.

HOLY HELL that was amazing.

A buddy and I needed a break from competitive Counter Strike GO so we re installed The Division last night based on the word of mouth that there was an overhaul patch. We are enjoying it a whole hell of a lot once again, just like when we started up for the first time.

It just feels like things are /happening/ now,

I actually had just picked up a months worth of Coffiest and the Soylent Bar to replace my TERRIBLE mornings of coffee/donut. The Coffiest is actually really good, fills me up solid in the morning too. Enough so, that I really only started eating the bars I ordered as snacks.

The bars were good, but only really

Ah! I sent a tip in about this finally coming out a week or so ago! I’m glad you guys posted about it!

I think Dunkey absolutely nailed it. I was ready to defend it until I saw his video and went and looked into the game more. You really can’t deny it.

The Bridge Crew battles alone would be incredible.

My team and I have been making great progress on our Kickstarted RPG, Pixel Noir! (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pixel…)

As someone who has read your work over the years, I’ve always wanted to chat with you about RPGs! If you are interested at all, I’d love to chat with you and hear your

Uhh, where.

Someone didn’t get the attention they wanted as a child.

As someone that has run a independent game store for many, many years, I can tell you that these bootlegs /originate/ from eBay. The article even states that the bootlegs probably worked when they were traded in, just as the bootlegger made them to when they sold them. They will have great feedback, since they worked

I'd been staying away from stuff about the show since I have not had time to see it yet and I'm pretty upset that a news headline w/picture basically spoiled the reveal for me now. I'm really sick of this happening.

It did have a sharper screen though, and was small enough that I could put it in my pocket easily.

We used to call Pixel Noir a “niche (pixel art) within a niche (noir style) within a niche (jrpg)” when we originally were out courting investors around two years ago. We knew that we were already way to far into that territory, but its what we wanted to make so we stuck with it.

Hey! Sorry for the delay, I needed a nap after work. Its the first real rest I’ve had since the Kickstarter ended!

So thats the real interesting thing about our team. Before Pixel Noir, we were all just fans of old jrpgs. Some of us had worked on a few, small game projects, but nothing near this scale or complexity.

Hey I’m allllmost out of work, didn’t want to leave you hangin’! I’ll have a solid response for you as soon as I’m out of here!

Less of a story and more of a style idea. It sprang from a conversation about a bunch of SNES RPGs and how great a noir themed detective rpg could have been loads of fun.

It kind of just grew into a huge thing from there! Story sort of came along as we started to build out ideas for the world it would take place in.

Thats the one!

My team and I are working on a JRPG, after successfully being funded on Kickstarter yesterday! If you have any specific questions I might be able to answer some of them/discuss some of them with you!

Now playing

Here is the excellent short series that it is based off of, from 2011! The creator has been trying to get it to become full series for a long time now, so I’m VERY EXCITED!
