Dan Slott’s run was called “Single Green Female” as a specific reference to Ally McBeal. And the Soule run was clearly aiming for a similar vibe. And with two out of three She- Hulk comics series aiming for that exact thing, it’s a safe bet they’ll be doing that.

As a parody of Batman movies, it’s alright.

That ending does certainly suggest there’s room for a time skip for The Mandalorian, at least. Unless things go sideways at the Jedi Academy right quick.

As a prequel to Jon Favreau’s Lion King, I think that’s a given.

This makes me triply confused about that show. Why did they get rid of him and keep the wooden doll that was Ali Larter? She was hands down the worst actor on the show. And her characters were consistently the least interesting (well the first two, I stopped watching before the third season). Did they think she had

I suspected this film wouldn’t be live action before (which never made sense anyway) I’m certain it’s not now.

Given that the first Imperial we heard in this show had a German accent I would assume most folks were used to it by now.

There’s almost no exposed skin there!

I’m reading rumours that she’s connected to Flag Smasher, or possibly a version of Flag Smasher.

I also was confused by Skyline 3... I thought the viewership of the original was dwarfed by the crew who made that film. How does such a movie get sequels?

That’s the thing- I’ve seen the film but cannot picture him in it. I would have sworn it was someone else in the role.

And I can honestly say that if I’ve ever heard a song by his band, I cannot remember it happening.

A Moebius movie sounds a great deal better than a Morbius movie.

I keep trying to think of the thing that made Jared Leto famous in the first place.. and I honestly have no idea.

Given that Crouching Tiger is based on the fourth book of a pentalogy, a sequel doesn’t seem ill- conceived to me.

Everything’s a trope. “Chosen One” prophecies get called out because of how common and lazy they are.

There was a prophecy in Got... but I did anyone at all think it referred to Robert Stark?

I want a story which spends the first ten minutes laying out the prophecy, showing the handsome prince at the center of said prophecy getting all the best training etc... and then dying in the first contact with the enemy. Then we meet the *real* protagonist of the story.

The man was introduced  killing a bunch of his own soldiers to make some kind of point (I’m still a bit unclear about what it was). But this guy does seem to be a wannabe Darth Vader, so killing the underlings seems par for that course.
