Correct; while the new R8 uses a ‘backwards haldex’ much like the one you find in the 8V platform. You’ll get the mechanical ‘Crown-center diff Sun gear’ or some hoopla like that for the RWD biased system and Haldex depends on the transverse layout or like the R8, longitudinal mount.
