The wooden acting, the dodgy weightless cgi and weirdly cheap looking sets & costumes give it the feel of a cutscene from a late 90s computer game. When it ends and they finally give me the control of the ship I’m turning my guns on the nearest friendly vessel, it’s the only way I’m going to have any fun with this…

100% agree. I’m usually not that harsh on acting quality...but like that REALLY stood out. Maybe the dialogue is just really bad and it’s hard to make sound natural? But I mean all these seem to be good actors elsewhere so it was really jarring to be like “wait...this acting really seems bad”

In a dark theater, that tiny little bright-ass screen is really noticeable, and it takes me out of the moment. If you need to text, stay home and watch movies (or go all the way to the top row where no one is sitting behind you and will see that screen while you’re texting).

Sorry, but it’s hard to focus on the big screen in front of you when there is a small, brighter, glowing screen much closer. Unless it’s an emergency, it can wait. And if it is an emergency, well then leave the theater.

My mom died two weeks ago and watching the Anubis story-on Mother’s Day no less- had me weeping like a child.

I don’t get this. 3 of the 4 best Xmen movies were Singers (Xmen, Xmen 2, DoFP) and the 4th was produced by him. Just because he fucked up Appocolyps doesn’t mean he’s not really good at making Xmen.

Looks like TDK didn’t make the jump from 2019 to 2049 though.
