Be glad you got out when you did. I trudged through 9-10 books before giving up. I may finish the series at some point, but I would never reread it.

I'm curious as to why you disliked THaHB. It was actually my favorite of the series just due to not having dead weight English kids running around doing stupid, eye-rolling stuff.
