I enjoyed it for the most part, and - when it went to commercial (for real) towards the end, I definitely assumed that the “Law & Order: SVU” spin-off for Christopher Meloni was one of the fake shows within the 30 Rock universe, but nope, it’s real. If only “Jurassic Green Book” was real as well.

Good choice. I’m gunning for Christopher Plummer myself.

Reading this article I spontaneously developed ovaries, and they are now also beating.

They hired him, but the contract stipulated that they were still going to call him Chris.

Dr. Spaceman was sorely missed.  He could have been seen advising the Governor of Georgia on his Coronavirus response.

Yep!

I believe it was Mizz (not The Miz) and Dot Gov.

Wasn’t The Miz a character on 30 Rock? Part of Octavia Spencer’s entourage?

Good point, I cannot boycott that which is without any interest or consideration on my part. Once in a while I will catch a musical clip from the show on YouTube but have no interest in the host, the format or the guest line-up, and clearly am not missing out.

In light of this news, I will continue my boycott of Ellen, which has been in place for the entirety of the show’s existence. Actually, it’s not a boycott so much as it is a complete ambivalence combined with working during the day.

Looks to camera:

There’s so little to look forward to these days that anything will do.

Since Watchmen won’t have any additional seasons and Better Call Saul has at least one more season, I predict Watchmen sweeping any category it’s been nominated for while BCS will get everything it’s nominated for in its last season.

The technical term for it is the “Lord of the Rings dilemma

I’d imagine it has everything to do with wanting all of the power, but none of the responsibility. If you’re just a big powerful ego on set, you sort of decide when and where you want to step up. When you’re actually the director, dozens of people are coming up to you every day wanting answers and clarification, and

According to ex-Scientologists who used to be his auditors or his auditees (at his level you’re required to learn to audit other people and must put in a certain number of hours doing it), he’s not real smart. Even for an actor. You have to be somewhat intelligent to direct.

But it will give us a chance to hear, for the 100th time, how Krasinski thought it was a really bad idea to remake such a brilliant UK show and didn’t think it could possibly work, and how the first question he asked when being cast was if Jenna Fischer got the role (and vice versa for Jenna!).

I came here to say that. Does every cast member need a podcast to discuss the show?

But... doesn’t Office Ladies already exist?

“Christopher Nolan does not allow Fruit By The Foot on set,” says Anne Hathaway. “His reasoning is, if there’s fruit by the foot, you’re unrolling it, and if you’re unrolling feet upon feet of fruit, you’re not working.”

I’m really starting to hate this accusing people of being “ableist” thing for just about anything. Call somebody a moron? I’m an ableist. And I don’t care to present anymore examples since my focus is the idiot in the article that wanted Nolan sued if it was true. I mean, what the hell? It’s definitely not that guy’s
