Worth mentioning that there’s a HUGE feature disparity between apple and android versions of the Peloton app. The android version lets you watch classes and that’s about it.

Random sidenote but apparently Kinja turns commenter links to amazon into Kotaku affiliate links? I guess it’s not a big deal but feels a little skeevy.
Well you should have made a funny meme video a few years ago or something - that’s how healthcare works in this country now. You’re either cute enough or charismatic enough to get other people to pay for your healthcare for you or you file bankruptcy.
It’s twisted and sad and fucked up that people are somehow more ok with turning to a GoFundMe to cover medical situations than voting for universal healthcare. I guess if you beg your friends and family that’s a community coming together, but providing preventative care for everyone is how we devolve into a communist…
Well, just look at the politicians we keep bringing in to power. Plenty of government subsidies on sugar (corn) but making healthy veg affordable is not in the works. Hey, lets refund these billion and now trillion dollar corporations even though they didn’t pay shazz in taxes, but fudge the mom and pop businesses.
We’ll pay another $5 for Netflix, but be dammed if the state or city asks us for another $10 in taxes for situations like this.
Priorities I guess.
daily reminder to wear a goddamn mask and distance until this shit is over or we will continue to get stories like this.
I can’t help myself
I used to live with a guy who I honestly consider to be the most clever person I ever met. He really was truly intelligent with a lot of tech stuff, he managed to turn this thing into a rudimentary 3D scanner. He was also an amazing artist and melted plastic wrap into a sculpture and used that as his scanning test.…
The CueCat was great — for those of us who appreciated an endless supply of super cheap barcode scanners in the early 2000s that could be easily hacked for personal use.
I own a CueCat. I picked one up at my local Radioshack circa 2005 and used it to create an MP3 player that didnt rely on display....
There were two modes: append or replace. That was the only diplay on the oak case I created for it. You scanned a UPC on the shelf of CDs i had and it played it; front to back. In append…
Ha! Watching that right now.
Look, if anybody is left alive after this pandemic, then obviously pandemics aren’t that bad, amirite?
I don’t understand. If the fraternity wants the name so bad, why don’t they pay this woman?
Have you ever tried to talk about a movie with someone who only deploys in-universe logic? It’s the worst.
No, it’s not a reference. Those words are just funny.
While I love the attention classic Simpsons get, I also hate it. Like, a joke is a joke, we don’t need a damn think piece on every single one. John Lennon would have a few things to say about this phenomenon
The true meaning of the shoe wasn’t the shoe, but the shoes we made along the way.
Two things .gif
Yeah, the main takeaway here is that a lot of people are bad at comedy. Most of these are people assuming that an absurdist punchline has to “mean something” or be a reference. Because you know what’s always hilarious? References to things people recognize.
