YES, *this*! Perfectly put.
YES, *this*! Perfectly put.
Seconded!
The exact same reason we can’t get a decent King Arthur or Spring-Heeled Jack movie, I’d imagine.
John Boyega seemed to like it well enough and I agree with his sentiments 100%.
Nope, me too! I thoroughly enjoyed Bright both times I watched it :-)
Hear, hear - you took the words from my fingertips and said it all for me.
I am SO ON BOARD for a GI Joe/Transformers/MASK/Jem/Rom/Micronauts cross-over movie! If they can squeeze My Little Pony and Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light into there, I’d be extra keen!
Tell that to Richard Spencer.
Joining their family in the afterlife? If religion was what Brooker was going for then that episode really *had* been written with American cultural biases as the focus.
You really have to reach to read San Junipero’s ending as dark. Other episodes didn’t leave that to willful interpretation.
Ugh, I loathed the San Junipero episode. It was so saccharine and cloying. Happy endings and Black Mirror aren’t a great mix IMHO, and that episode felt as though it had been written purely to take American audience sensibilities in mind.
Preach!
It’s because this is a tactic that right-wingers are using to try and pull left-wingers over to their side via an emotional reaction, while simultaneously encouraging them to make being Caucasian central to their identity. It’s a pretty heady, noxious mix when you break it down.
Says somebody who obviously [a] has not been to the UK recently (possibly ever) and [b] has no muslim friends or associates.
I regret that I have but one star to give to your comment.
Agreed, have a star.
“when a person from a particular race/culture/religion says a certain word/term is offensive, then it is offensive.”
Black Lightning live-action costume is so wack. They shoulda based it off the one from the mid-’90s.
Looks no less terrifying when the beast was STILL ALIVE, either.
