A lot of people consider the cartoon to be the definitive canon of the X-Men. I’m not one of them but a lot of 90s kids cut their teeth on X-Men TAS, Spider-Man TAS, Batman TAS etc. In their defense, a lot of the time those cartoons were better than the comics.
