I can’t tell if Michelle Gomez slipping in and out of her Scottish accent on Doom Patrol is intentional or not.

Some day I’ll figure out how to post photos to Kinja

Stopping at my after-work watering hole, I saw a ‘49 Jeepster just sitting in the parking lot. (let’s see if I can get the photo to post...)

I was mostly relieved that they let Wilson just do a monologue, without weird interruptions or cameos in the audience. I realized that I don’t remember the last time a guest was able to do that.

Nice thread on this topic by Twitter user youngmi mayer

I just don’t get the objections to Line 3. If it’s replacing an older line which is more brittle and less safe, what’s wrong with that? Seems safer.

During lockdown, I decided that since I wasn’t having success quitting smoking, I’d try to turn it into a net benefit. So instead of taking a break outside on my front steps, I’d hoof it around the neighborhood. It was a simple and pleasant switch, and it automatically added over 5000 steps to my day.

Just sayin’, Martin Landau WAS Lugosi in Ed Wood. Amazing performance.

There are already stans freaking out on Twitter because of Dream’s eyes.

That’s the manufacturer I’ve been using. My only concern is how it shows up in a ten-panel. My doc assures me it won’t.

Variety reports Malachi Kirby has been cast as both Charlie Nancy and his brother Spider”

That’s one thing about the 11'8" - it seems like most of the videos of collisions are people driving Ryder trucks or some other rental agency’s. I drove a big truck for a move, largest I’ve operated, and you just don’t have that peripheral sense of how big the damn thing really is.

There were two restaurants so central to my collegiate career that when I revisit campus, the first thing I do is head for them.

I’d have to add Taco Bell nachos to the list. I expect they added more petroleum byproducts some time in the ‘90s. While I was in college in the ‘80s, it was a special guilty pleasure to hit up the Bell. Now the Bel Grande tastes like cardboard.

The Green Knight

I am so sad that this show is no longer running.

I never really noticed how much Luke Wilson sounds like his brother Owen.

If nobody else has already, I’ll mention Lamar Gant, a powerlifting champion who had severe scoliosis (curvature of the spine).

My personal fave: ‘67 Chrysler Newport Deluxe (2-door) with a 383. Super-luxurious ride, though the alternator was notorious for crapping out. Remedied by putting in a higher-rated alternator. Drove one from ‘75-’80. First car I topped 120mph in (with a broken motor mount, I discovered later!).

I could really have used this during my recent trip to Indiana. It’s not that far from my home state of Minnesota, but there were many songs & calls that utterly stumped me.
