A midengined corvette would very likely be shorter just as a product of it being midengined, lighter, and hopefully smaller overall. The interior on the c8, if it improves as much as last time, will be very nice. Of course its not a porsche, but the vastly better performance and sound and maybe even rarity, will make…
yeah but as a result, hes actually BEING a bag of dicks for caring so much...So its worse than just being perceived as a bag of dicks.
Yeah, id probably just get a c6 z06 and pocket the rest of the money...
I didnt say fixed hardtop, just hardtop. And the targa top on the c7 is indeed....hard. And yeah but if youre basing it on what chicks like youd always have to buy one of the worst cars in each respective segment. Range Rover, nissan juke, base jetta, random shit like that that girls like for some reason.
Ill let the sales numbers do the talking. I would be embarrassed if I was caught choosing a hairdressers car over beautiful hardtop sports car (Not even saying the corvette would be my choice, but boxter?)
I dont know what planet you guys are on, but a boxter is NOT cool. Theres no way a new mid engined corvette with a new (and probably very nice) interior, and mid engined styling would not have the same presence as a boxter. Boxters have no presence. Thats like expecting people to think “wow, hes got a german car!”…
A shark is AWD
I wish i had the money to take on cool projects like that. But then id probably just be building a cobra with a 454 lsx
Make it yourself. Tube chassis, junkyard LS1, 6 spd. with super overdrive. 50mpg might be a little extreme though
I guarantee a c8 mid engined grandsport would be a waaay faster and better car than a boxter. With the extreme improvements in literally every area from c6 to c7, GM is going to make the next corvette a giant fighter. itll probably be more expensive than the c7 though
You must have missed the part where the FR corvette would still be produced...
I believe it will be significantly more expensive than a current corvette, especially in zo6 (or equivalent) trim. So at like $125,000 I believe that a mid engined z06 corvette could absolutely hang with a 918. Dickriding an $800,000 supercar just because its german when it gets matched by much cheaper cars, come on.
Because its GOOD to identify a new car with the corvette name. If GM releases an unrelated sports car, it will be recieved as well as any american car trying to compete with german and italian exotics...people will be skeptical. If you realease it as the already awesome and respected corvette, but with better handling…
“So you go buy a perfectly good Skyline, and decide that you don’t like how it looks” The only sentence where he says skyline, and where the fuck does he equivocate it with being rare or special. He literally just uses the word...
Yeah i figured it might not be any better. i think you may have peaked with your 2500 if you cant go 2 rows and get a pickup.
40k r32 non GTRs were sold, they werent meant to be exclusive. The lower numbers for r33 and r34 non GTRs werent because they were supposed to be special, but because they werent fast, or really cool in any way.
Dude, a regular skyline is not a sports car. A g35 has every right to be considered a skyline as a non GTR spec r32-r34. It would destroy a non turbo skyline
Its really just not..Its not amazing, but neither are some of its competitors. The 370z is just embarassing, and way more money to boot. BRZ is a much more sports focused car, but still way down on power.
