Among who? Because this meets the definition to the T.

Well the good news is most amateur bomb makers tend to do it quite poorly. Not a skill most people develop outside of criminal circumstances.

This is just about getting Fox to show all the scariest things to his base of angry racist white people. It’s just blatant how they’re doing his bidding. So many bad faith actors with power right now.

So uh, what is Politicon? Generally I’m at least passingly aware of these things but I’m lost on this one.

That’s fair, it was more a historical joke about how some prominent figures were named.

You know, we also have NATO ally Turkey, admittedly a problematic friend, and Jordan, who the US is absolutely close to. Not to mention our solid relationship with Morocco. There’s Egypt, also problematic but they buy plenty from us too. Qatar, which hosts a major naval base. Maybe don’t opine on subjects you know

That account follows a bunch of accounts with the same name. Must have been banned quite a few times from the looks of it.

They’re exporting this knowledge. The big troll operation in Myanmar that inciting against Rohingya on Facebook was run by military members, a number of which had training in Russia. The English language side of that was pretty small, limited to pretty obvious troll accounts on Facebook and Twitter posting racist

The polls don’t consider irregular or new voters, generally speaking. Most “likely voter” polls tend to skew Republican for that reason. In a normal midterm they might be accurate on that, but this time around it’s an open question. So it’s worth remembering, if new voters or people who don’t regularly vote show up

Imagine that, people giving charity to those they think are in need. Apparently a foreign concept to the far-right in the US.

I mean, this George Soros stuff is just openly anti-Semitic. The entire root of the concept, shadowy Jewish financier stirs trouble/isn’t loyal to the country is a huge pretty fundamental anti-Semitic trope. Yet the mainstream GOP has completely adopted this. Even assuming most of them don’t notice it’s anti-Semitic

They won’t get a way with a sham investigation without punishment. Someone is going to face consequences, including the 15 men on the assassination team, the head of the consulate, and most likely someone higher up and nearer to MbS.

If “harassing the referee” by yelling is a crime Golfcart Gail is gonna haveto call the cops on basically every soccer fan ever. If she’s not too terrified of the diverse crowd and scary strange foods to enter the stadium that is.

Civility is useless. Respect is earned and must be kept. Civility is the opposite of that, it’s unearned and smothering. It’s a polite fiction that allows bad things to happen and silences those they happen to.

That’s actually why I put it off. Well that and just forgetting. But mine is also the medical test and that’s probably worthwhile given I have chronic health issues. There’s some weird stuff that runs in the family random aunts and distant cousins keep warning me about.

It’d be amusing if the whole group just imploded, but I suppose all the sweet racist old GOP money will keep them going no matter how awful and useless they are.

A few suggestions from the bountiful curses of Old Irish literature.

To the general public? Yeah, that’s in serious doubt. I get asked this stuff a lot by curious people who know I have a degree in history and read too much.

Yeah, but correlation can be misleading. Ethnicity and genetics don’t always correlate. Take it this way, an Angl0-Saxon noble flees court politics to Ireland. His children are raised in Ireland, speaking Irish, taught in Irish monasteries, etc. Genetically, they are Anglo-Saxon. But ethnically? Well that’s a hard

The FDA approved their medical genetic testing, nothing to do with the accuracy of their ancestry tests. My mother bought me one of those and I held off because of privacy concerns for awhile, and I was getting the medical and ancestry because I’ve got enough health issues to merit paying for it.
