You just said you don't watch basketball. Also there is no AAA product in basketball; that's a baseball thing. No one feels bad for you man, seriously.

They're only 2 games behind the Nets in the loss column. At least the Sixers are young and fun to watch develop. Go hate on a team that deserves it. I'm with Pop, these guys have guts and heart. You're fucking cynical, Tom.

The team is all in from the top down. Everyone involved is going to be excruciatingly patient. Why would they stop half way?

Tom has never addressed the great young players the Sixers have or own rights to. The man is ignorant in his hate.

Can't help but feel bad for Thaddeus Young, haha

They don't need THE top pick. They got incredible value with MCW at 11 and KJ McD in the 2nd round. Plus they got Embiid, at one time the consensus number 1 with the 3rd pick.

That's okay. They got the ROY with the 11th pick.

Bitch, don't kill my vibe.

Management understands that the team is bad. That's been put to rest. The question is whether the young guys are developing by being thrown into the fire or picking up bad habits from playing with a poor supporting cast.

No one would criticize a rookie for making an effort unless he was on the Sixers. What's up with the internet and low hanging fruit?

So did he develop a bad habit, or did he have a learning experience? That question is where the Sixers argument should lie. I'm guessing he goes over the tape with coach Brown and learns a lesson.

"Let me be clear: If we played ANY NBA team, we would get buried. ANY."

That's more or less the point. One major facet of the Sixers strategy is acquiring lottery draft picks.

I'm sure you've studied the effects that playing on a bad team has on the development of good basketball players. Or maybe you're like Tom Ley and just spewing shit onto the internet.

He's one of the best rookies in the league but thanks for playing (into Tom's asinine narrative).

This kind of cultish idol worship isn't unique to college athletics. Just look at Bill Cosby and Michael Jackson. Look at the Catholic church. Look to our lawmakers. You can get the willies from any aspect of culture if you look closely enough.

As a Sixers fan, I've come to understand that hope is a beautiful, ugly powerful thing.

What's the deal with approved comments? If Tom doesn't like it then it doesn't pass? How does that promote a true social discussion? Hey Kinja, I'll just wallow in the second class unapproved section. Tom, are you in bed? Moved on to the next article? Am I doomed to be grey forever?

As a Sixers fan, I don't feel that this team is cynical. It's not successful either. It's 100% hopeful and I love it.

Tom doesn't mention MCW, Nerlens Noel, KJ McDaniels or Tony Wroten. He only mentions Embiid and Saric in reference to their respective absences. This article isn't informed or interesting. It's flame-bait. Tom would fit right in next to Skip and Stephen A.
