I know you’re just trying to make fun of their, admittedly, very poor “commercial”, but pools and their evaporation are not a HUGE issue. Everyone is so fucking focused on the residential use that they completely ignore the other *80%* of the usage.

Personally, I refill my pool on an annual basis using only 8 oz bottles of water. I get to use the empty plastic bottles for various activities like starting fires in the fireplace, making little boats that we float down the river, and my favorite - homemade exfoliant pellets so I don't have to buy that expensive…

You do have to vacuum it, though. I bought a robot to do it for me, so maybe I don’t really have a point.

And then get fined by the same city (+HOA) who fines you for watering. I’m definitely anti-grass for droughts but sometimes people don’t have a choice after they buy a house.
