its a shame we wont get Jame Gumb. but who knows? the show may have fumbled eventually. i know a lot of people dislike this season, though its my favorite so far.

he had a collection of strays at the start of Red Dragon (the book, i dont think either Manhunter nor Red Dragon the film featured his fleet of dogs).

limited series would be the best way for both this and The Stand to go, in my opinion.

you mean two films. because four hours wasnt even enough.

there was also a weird undercurrent of bashing of artists and musicians in that film. lots of 'this isn't a real job, and people like you can't be good parents'. it was super gross.

it was. people somehow pretended it wasn't.

*sigh* this shit's never gonna happen. its been years of various people trying to make this work. same goes for 'the stand'.

I would like to see Mrs. Fisher shanked through both eyeballs now, please.

indeed. the snubbing of farmiga especially rankles me, as its the best work shes done in her career and its one of the most powerhouse performances on television right now.

yeah i guess my one argument for WP would be Melissa Leo, honestly. I enjoy the show but thats far and away the best performance on it.

okay, good point.

No Bojack :(

Rectify, Bates Motel, Hannibal, Wayward Pines…all ignored.

fuck off, artisanal popcorn is delicious.

no kidding! the man's guilt seems to go beyond haunting him to the point of absolutely consuming him. if he had lived in later times, he could've gotten help to work through those issues. instead we got classic literature out of it!

yes it does. theres such an air of contempt in Straker's actions. this elitist obscure european using a white-trash backwater suburb in Maine as his personal killing pen…that seems to be a recurrent theme in King's work, the laughing audacity of those who commit evil acts, the seething self-righteousness. It's there

I always took Jason (and a few others in the genre) to be just that. All persona wiped away, all individuality devalued by a mask and a relentless drive, they exemplify nothing but the random cruelty of fate. People always want to look for some heavy-handed conservative moral message in slashers, that these masked
