I bought a ‘93 LT1 Corvette two years ago for not much more than this...so, as a previous poster stated, if this particular one isn’t your cup of tea, there are plenty of very good choices out there...and despite what some say, the C4, particularly the later cars offer a great bang for the buck. I’ve spent quite a

V6 Camaros will run 155 (limited), .98 skid pad numbers, and base price is less than $33,000....

Well, for the English, that would probably be easier than a tooth fetish..

Well...the Stones are English, too...

I suspect there’s very little of the original body underneath.....THAT.

While they’re at it, they need to automatically deduct points from ANY headlight that uses polycarbonate lenses.

I live about 45 minutes from The Dragon here in Tennessee...I can relate to idiots on the road.

I fly a lot in my job, and for about three years, I got selected for “random screening” about 80% of the time.  All my travel was domestic, I’m a pretty boring person, so I can’t imagine any real red flags...and then it inexplicably stopped.  No idea what triggered it, and even less of an idea of why it stopped.

I had the impression that David E. Davis believed the world was crying out for a certain level of sophistication that he was the sole arbiter in determining, so he left Car and Driver to begin Automobile.

You reminded me of something I read years ago about a concours event...

Am I the only person that finds it mildly ironic that while metric fasteners have become more or less the standard, socket drives are still in 1/4, 3/8, and 3/4?

I’d make the argument that the entire front styling of those were an afterthought.

I’ve had the theory that the “hockey stick” shape lends itself to allowing extra support in two directions for the “bumper”, making it slightly more difficult in minor collisions to pop off of the body, and lending additional support to prevent the warping of the cover where it mates with the sheet metal.

I had a younger friend who had one...the only thing that gave him an issue was the day he had to replace the points, and had no clue. He spent two days trying to get it running again, before he finally gave up and called me, because he realized I’d been driving ancient cars for decades.

You were fortunate. I have a co-worker that listed a Jeep Cherokee for sale on Craigslist...about 10% of the replies were from scammers, a majority of the other replies were for people wanting him to practically give it away.

If putting out the dumpster fire to save the house cost 8k, sure...I’d forgotten how terrible these were.
