Complete BS. Rental companies do not have the internal controls required to identify who smoked in their vehicle with any reasonable level of certainty. I don’t think they really care either on account that it is easier to just charge someone for smoking on some occasion.

This goes right next to the lady, who some while back in Texas, decided to pray while driving. Unfortunately, she closed her eyes while doing so. She drove through a 3-way stop intersection right into a house. Go figure. 

Mercedes, I am so glad that you are driving something that you are passionate about.   This is an aspect of driving that gets lost in the day to day grind. We car enthusiast  should search for such experiences before were are all driving dull electric cars for lack of choice. Bravo!
