A Lexus SC430 is “unhealthy” per Top Gear. Just FYI.

That was really nicely done. I also learned something about racism in Europe vs US back pre-WW II.  Your writing is a credit to this site. Thank you!

Oil leaks on the valve cover on a low mile turbo car. What could go wrong? There are much better 80s cars out there for the same price.

David,

Just wait until you try discs.... then hydraulics... your hands will thank you!

Manual transmission. Three pedals nothing else. Too bad BMW dealers can’t properly identify such vehicles in their adds.

If you like “Can’t Drive 55”, then Aldo Nova - Armageddon (Race Cars) is hard to beat. Great guitar!

No worse than Sen. Richard Burr of Norther Caroline whom the Federal prosecutors investigated for dumping his holdings in advance of a coronavirus-fueled share price plunge. Speaking of which, that case really went quiet last fall....

Raphael, thank you. Though the fact that you don’t have your own saddle of choice, on account of having to borrow a saddle from your girlfriend, leaves me concerned. Having you own quality perch that you are happy with eliminates a big factor from bicycle reviews and allows you to focus on the differences of the ride.

There cars feature the tubular frame which rusts about 12 years in, right?  Better not leave Vegas!

My first new car, a 1986 Golf was solid. With manual steering and wind-up windows, it was basic like you don’t see today. I broke it in with care and it never used any oil. At 170K miles and ten years later, I gave it away.

In the 90's I got to drive an Audit A4 TDI with a manual in Europe. It was awesome. A TDI with a manual is just a great combination.  Love the torque!

Point well made. Nicely sorted car.

Wow! This proves that more is less!

A silver 1956 300SL being driven early in the morning on public road between Santee and San Diego. You just don’t expect to see that.

Two questions: (1) Gates belt? (2) Horizontal drop out on the rear axel? Else, how do you adjust for belt wear?

Great point on the fenders an toe overlap! You have to have some experience to come up with that. It really is surprising how much water a front tire will pick up onto your shoes.

Wow! I am so glad that the truck vent to a car guy!

Perhaps there is more than one way to enjoy a car, especially for the designer. Else, he may have gotten tired of seeing the imperfections that only the designers see and it drove him nuts.  For example, in my woodworking projects the errors and mistakes drive me nuts. Some others don’t see them. I have learned not to

I want to know where you can get a Snycro for $23. Really!
