If Trump wins these things will probably become a reality.

It is crazy to think what a Disney trip costs and where you could go in the world for the same amount of money. It ended up being about $5000 for me, my wife, and kid. We’ve been to Europe for much cheaper than that.

My wife and I used a Disney affilated travel agent too. She took care of all of our restaurant reservations and fast passes. It was nice not having to worry about it. The only downside is that she put some fast passes in mid afternoon when my 4 year old would be back at the hotel napping. We missed out on some rides,

As a Packers fan, wins like that by the Bears drove me crazy. It always seemed like their defense would come up with a fumble recovery or interception for a touchdown or Hester would run a kick back for a TD.

The crazy thing is that up until this law was passed, had anybody heard about or worried about this issue? I know I never thought about it.

At this convention, I think Jesus would get booed off of the stage. I think Reagan would too. The GOP has just become that crazy.

I thought airport strip joints would be a good idea. I figure if you paid the right people in Chicago it would possible to put one in O’Hare.

I have no problem flying to Europe from Chicago. I don’t sleep well on planes, but I can usually get 3 hours of sleep on the overnight flight. Then I’m usually excited to be in Europe so I can stay up until 10 pm or so and avoid jet lag.

A word of warning on that Schlage keyless lock. It is rather thick. The knob where the key lock is located interfered with the latch for my screen door. When I closed the main door, the knob would hit the latch on the screen door just enough to pop it open or if I was leaving, I couldn’t close the screen door. I had

I hated that 9 pm cutoff when I was in Milwaukee and having to buy liquor separately at the grocery store. La Crosse was a little better since you could get beer until midnight. One of the few good things about living in Illinois is that I don’t know what time I cannot buy liquor. I’ve never run into that problem.

That’s why I like hockey. The two intermissions are great times to hit the restroom and grab another beer. Even better were the club seats at the Blues games. They have servers who will bring you food and drinks. It used to be unlimited beer but I heard they cut down to 3 beers per game this past season.

That drove me crazy when I was in Nashville a couple of years ago. I stopped at Costco to pick up some beer and liquor because my local Costco has great prices on them. The Costco could only sell certain beers, limited by alcohol content (6% I think). There was a small shop attached to the building that sold liquor,

It’s pretty big deal if you are travelling. A few years ago I went to Rome and the exchange rate was $1.50 to 1 Euro. Last year when I went to Paris, the rate was $1.06 to 1 Euro. While I had fun on both trips, it was much nicer to pull 100 Euros out of an ATM and have it only be almost $100 instead of $150. Also, I

I started using a Dexcom about a year ago. I’ve been on various pumps for 10 years and diabetic for about 20. I was hesitant to use a CGM because I didn’t want to deal with another thing attached to my body. Now that I’ve used it, I don’t want to live without it. The transmitter battery died for the first time and I

Pretty much everything is banned in Illinois outside of sparklers, snakes, and party poppers. Some towns around me ban everything including sparklers.

As a Packers fan, that helped ease the pain of the clusterfuck that happened at the end of NFC Championship. I still think Mike McCarthy was the happiest person about the deflategate scandal because it kept the media off his ass after the game.

I agree with that one. I figure I will be called to the principal’s office because my son was making a finger gun and I’ll be like “Are you kidding me?”.

I’ve seen flares at other soccer matches and races in Europe before. I figured that they were allowed as frequently as I had seen them, as crazy as that seems. I would never expect to get a flare into any sporting event here. If someone did light a flare in the stands here, I predict they would be beaten by the other

The problem with the TSA is they are too focused on stopping water bottles, toothpaste, and pocket knives that they miss the test bombs. Nobody is taking over a plane with a knife anymore but things like scissors and large knitting needles are allowed.

Airport security is obviously necessary. Very few people would get on a plane without some screening. I think they could go back to pre-9/11 screening and be just as safe. Nobody is getting into the cockpit anymore and passengers will fight back against terrorists. Throw in some random extra screening and we would
