Yeah, the Helicarrier thing is a great example. To this day, one of the most exciting parts of The Winter Soldier for me was when Fury used Fitz’s mousehole cutter to escape.  And that was in the bad Season 1 days.

Re-watched it the evening we saw MI6. Holds up nicely and it’s one of my favorite Cruise performances.

the movie is underrated. I feel like the years have been really kind to it though. It still looks great and has plenty of thrills.

It absolutely was. I’m not a Tom Cruise fan at all but Vincent was an amazing performance. Between that and his role in Tropic Thunder I have 2 Cruise performances I can watch.
