I agree completely. Being trans does not automatically mean she has talent, just like it doesn’t automatically make Caitlyn Jenner not an asshole.
People have their blinders on. They let her status as a trans woman cover up the fact that she is - on the whole - not so great at acting. It sucks because I’m sure there are trans men and women out there who do have talent in this area but LC just isn’t one of them in my estimation.
As a member of the LGBTQ community and decent human, I’m all for trans actors getting jobs - whether as trans characters or not - but when are we going to admit that Laverne Cox simply is not GOOD at acting? Her performances make me cringe.

I love the podcast but I am forever annoyed by how this person cannot pronounce double Ts when they appear in the middle of a word. She makes them into Ds and it drives me up the wall.

Even disregarding the romance angle, the show without Beckett/Katic is the dumbest idea ever. Beckett was a far more compelling character and Katic is the better actor.
