Yep, that’s a biggie... last time I checked my ink tanks were nearly empty, and I was getting lines that cleaning wouldn’t fix. So I’m debating between ordering fresh cartridges in hopes that fixes it, or just tossing the thing. I hate to landfill a functioning printer, but I also hate to throw good money after bad. Read more
Huh - my cheap Brother multifunction laser is 6 years old and going strong, and has outlived my previous HP. While I’ve also gone through a few Canon inkjets over the past 20 or so years, it eventually becomes hard (and expensive) to source the ink cartridges, but that hasn’t been a problem (yet) for Brother toner.
