Pro-tip: Re-inflate, or slightly over-inflate (don’t exceed the tire’s maximum rated pressure) the tire prior to reaming or plugging. It makes it a ton easier since the tire is then “hard” rather than flexing when you put your muscle into it. Of course, adjust to the proper pressure as the last step.

Nothing like burning $20k to stay warm. That dealer is lying, plain and simple.

Maybe in total if they had several

You are blocking half of the air flow to the intercooler with your front license plate there...

We just lost our racecar during testing for nationals at the glen this week. Driver had a lapse of judgement, had a tankslapper in the bus stop and backed it into the blue bushes. The marshals did a wonderful job keeping him safe until the the EVs came. They’ve helped me when I’ve ran out of talent as well. Our season

That was the most dangerous move possible, especially at a blind corner. He should have followed the marshal’s point instead of taking off on his own. And before anyone else asks, yes, I am a corner marshal, and yes I have discussed it with some of the workers who were at the race.

I nominate the Seiko 5 SNK809, this is a 21 jewels automatic Japanese movement for at around $50. That’s right you get a legendary brand, automatic time proven movement and a fantastic easy to read face for about $50. Dress it up in leather, dress it down in a Nato strap. I’ve owned my Seiko 5 for about a year and

The hillclimb up to the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca is a hell of a place to park a car.

Honestly, I’d buy a small, 12V DC air compressor, and just put it in the car. There’s usually enough room around the spare tire under the trunk floor in most passenger cars for a compressor and jumper cables.

Yea my fear regarding brakes is quite the opposite. I don’t trust anyone but myself to work on my brakes. If I do it, I know it’s done right.

I wouldn’t be too sure he’s not the quickest - get him in the same car as the others and see what happens.

I can no longer play this for at least an hour before going to bed. I get so keyed up I can’t sleep.

I’d buy it and turn it into a private track and tell Hennessey to go fuck himself and go get his own track to test on.

As a iRacing, Assetto Corsa, and Dirt Rally junkie, this is why I have to get a VR system. I've been like a kid waiting for Christmas morning when I can get my hands on one. When sim racers were going to triple screens, I was following the Oculus development and knew this would be the future, and so have been holding

“How hard could it be?”

I swear, they’re happy to have the press... of any type... that talks about anything but their broken formula for engines (omg, I mean power units), fuel, tires, testing, in-season development, bankrupt back-marker teams, lack of sponsors, etc. The F1 press spent a lot of ink and electrons on qualifying. Now back to

solid rear axle, lots of torque, little weight over the rear end

I can see it both ways. Bottas took a legitimate line, but he probably came in a bit too hot. Seems to me the view that stewards generally take on the first turn at most starts is that everyone’s job is primarily eyes-front and don’t hit someone in front of you, and then it’s on the people behind you to do the same.

Hey if she is talented enough to drive the Nordschleife at speed and grab her boob on camera while going through the Carousel, then I am all for it. As a matter of fact I want more.
