I’m nearly 9 months along now and it’s been 95 (30C) with a heat index of 105F (40.5) for nearly 2 weeks here. I feel your pain. Lots of fans, iced beverages, maxi dresses and not going outside except to go to work.

My birth plan with the previous one was basically natural as possible unless it looks like nature is

Best pals with the health center director that received all of the initial complaints from 1990 onward. The guy protected him for YEARS.

Old School. Was supposed to just be the siblings, but dad found out we were going out and made us bring him, mom, and the grandparents. SOO awkward.

Thank you for sharing this story. I know how hard it is and also how important it is for other parents who have gone through this to hear these stories. It’s such a lonely and isolating experience.

This was the same thing that happened with my first child- found out at the 20 week scan that he was missing kidneys entirely and no lung tissue had developed. I was lucky enough to be in a state where we had until 24 weeks to decide-but had to fight with the insurance for 2 of those weeks to get them to cover my

I also appreciate that his parents drilled the importance of education into him.  Marketing classes-getting that BA, the MBA, the Ed. D, thinking about going to law school.  And then he takes all that knowledge and applies it to his brand.

This. Also St. Mary’s is right by where Kate lives so it makes sense she’d go there. It’s literally a 10ish minute drive.

He’s been in a contentious divorce for the last 2-3 years so I’m guessing he’s either referring to his marriage/family imploding.

I do not want to hear that I have a “humor deficit” or can’t take a joke. I did not overreact. I took a job and, because I did not want to be harassed, I was fired.”
BAM.  There it is.  Simple and to the point.

This will get buried in the grey’s, but get well drew!  I was coming round for my weekly  Funbag dose and saw the news.  Hopes for a speedy recovery!

My husband found a way to make it even sadder by turning to me and saying wait....no kids made it in the last 500 years either? Do kids go to the good/medium place or is there a separate criteria for them? And that made me weepy. :(

I’m tempted to just work from home that day.  That area around NRG is a cluster as it is.

Lol.  Right?

11:15 and they are almost a hour and half behind (they are still processing in and it’s only about halfway full). This funeral will still be going on this time tomorrow.

If you read his own lawyer’s court filing-$8 million of that was a loan for a new house that she has to pay him back with interest. The loan was because he kicked all 6 kids out of the house and kept all the interior items. So all their toys, all their stuff, all their clothes. Be pissed at mom if you think she’s awful

The Man who came to dinner (1942)  With the great Bette Davis

They actually had a episode about this during season, where she complains about having to do second shift at home as full time mom/being default parent, and he takes over for the whole week. He does terrible, she takes back over, but everyone appreciates it now?  It’s weird.

For me it will always be her as Dr. Dill. LOVED that character. I’m so bummed she’s gone.

Exactly. The half-sister has referred to Megan’s mom as ‘the maid’-so it must really dig in her craw to see both Megan and her mom doing well. She was always supposed to be less than the older siblings.

I loved this challenge. The sewing challenges are the BEST, or where the girls have to write their own dialogue. Things like the ‘pharmarusical’ are just blah. The writers are not as funny as they think they are.

As a history nerd, for the record Monet was 100% correct that the British accent during the Colonial era
