I watched some episodes from the earlier seasons over the holiday week. They were sooooo much better than what we’re getting now. David and Dan just aren’t anywhere near the caliber of writer that GRRM is. They did not do a good job when they set off on their own.

The legacy of GOT will ultimately be tarnished because after the need to find out what happens goes away the drastic drop in quality can’t be ignored. It just hasn’t been a good show in a long time. It goes from big moment to big moment with little logic in between.
