It’s all come to pass, the prophecy makes no mention of someone killing the Night King, in fact last time around Azor Ahai didn’t manage to kill him either, the White walkers were banished…

They are making a Sopranos prequel and SatC got several movie sequels. 

This is what TV shows have always been, except full of ads and cancelled after one season (usually on Fox) It ain’t new, the same goes for movie series or book series or in fact any type of fiction. Stories don’t always get an ending just like life ;-)

I doubt it’s risky at all.

This is true for ANY TV show though, Netflix just doesn’t have ads.
