So true. I don’t hate CGI animation - The Incredibles was pretty great, as are a bunch of others. But why traditional animation has just about completely disappeared is such a sad thing.

The 90s were terrible. It’s when we finally reached a point where absolutely everything was commercialized and branded. And everything was either to the extreme! or a retread of that fucking hippie bullshit.

He also revealed one of his next projects: a “Victorian female Batman” called Twist.

I’m looking forward to the new Spidey suit. The Rami costumes never did it for me - the raised webbing hurt my eyes. Then came the Amazing Spider-Man - it was terrible. He looked like a basketball. Then AS-M2 was back to the Rami look, only with better eyes.

For the record, he was Lebanese/Syrian who grew up in Egypt.
