Touch screens aren’t the problem. The interfaces on those touch screens are the problem. They’re too complicated, and basic functions are hidden deep within layers of menus. Simple GUI designs go a long way, just look at Apple CarPlay. Big brightly colored buttons on a dark screen and deep voice control integration

Seriously, add pants that fit to the packing list.

Is the alternative independent suspension? What’s the advantage of solid axles?

Yup, this is the only reason Nintendo is releasing new hardware.

I think, if they made a widebody R/T, that would be a heckin’ chonker.  But a widebody Hellcat is definitely oh lawd he comin’.

Dead Cells really has me hooked.  I think it’s one of the best rogue-likes.

I’ve never wanted a Miata so I have no horse in this race but this is the dumbest thing I’ve heard today, and may even be dumber than yesterday’s news of the 2 Series going FWD.  Don’t do it, Mazda.

The 5GT was replaced by the 6GT.  It’s really nothing more than a name change.

If Ford can make a sports car as successful and mainstream as the Mustang, maybe they can make the Mustang’s inevitable switch to electrification have as much impact.

Don’t text and drive, idiot.

You talk like they’re not crap already...

I’d have Matt LeBlanc screaming GET OUT OF THE WAY JACKASS

I mean, I wouldn’t buy a FWD Audi, but they wouldn’t sell them if they weren’t profitable. It sucks, but I’m sure that’s the bottom line for BMW too. It’s probably more profitable to re-engineer the FWD MINI platform than to do whatever wizardry they’d have to do to keep RWD.

It’s not, just like autos (especially dual clutch autos, they’re amazing) are not that bad.

That costs more money than porting.

Gotta pick and choose which vices to indulge. Indulge all of them and you will die early. Indulge none of them and you will deprive yourself of a lot of things the world has to offer. Moderation is the key to victory.

I’m surprised no one is bringing up that it’s a Google product. Google’s entire business model is built on mining data and selling it to advertisers. Given that Google already sells devices and services for a profit and also uses those things for collecting data, how will this be integrated into their data collection?

Oh it’s good enough, but ISPs will charge out the wazoo to put your account in the fast lane. Thanks, Ajit Pai.

With the added benefit of Google digging through every byte of data sent back and forth.
