I remember finally having some pride as a Rocky Mountain High “Lobo” once I found out that F150's were called that in Mexico. Almost got some Lobo badges for my 11th gen, but haven’t pulled the trigger.

Should be a good weekend of racing! Can’t wait to see 10 Camping World sponsored trucks in the race tonight.
This picture brings back all sorts of memories, I was working at Ford in 2013/14, and between seeing all the fords of this vintage, and the Pure Michigan rain, it took me right back to post college times.
The fact that Jalopnik still allows your articles amazes me, and truly shows how far Jalopnik has fallen.
I’ve never shopped at McKenna VW but I dated a girl named McKenna who drove a VW Atlas so somehow I can relate.
These Logitech’s aren’t bad, but I prefer my Thrustmaster overall, even my TMX.
This was true too of a lot of pickups. Just detailed an F150 for a customer who said he was selling it on Carvana for 2500 more than he paid so he decided to let it go.
There’s both a BMW and Mercedes Benz store in Loveland, and Dellenbach also sells Caddy’s here in Fort Collins.
Tacomas are great trucks if you don’t use them like a truck. My good buddy is always borrowing my F150 because his Tacoma can’t tow his car trailer, or fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back. The mileage is about the same as my F150, but my truck feels much faster, and overall is much more comfortable, and refined…
I agree. I’ve always liked the looks of the second gen Escape, so much so that I convinced my roommate to buy one haha. She loves it and has put over 80k miles on it in 2 years and it’s been solid. I may be weird, but I love the styling and designs of late 2000's Fords...while the interiors may have not been that…
I’m not sure if anyone has checked used truck prices recently but this seems like a pretty nice truck for 15k IMO. Sure there’s somethings that I’d change, but they could all be done in a weekend. My bro’s 04 F150 has a Roushcharger and it’s a lot of fun. It’s been supercharged for 120,000 of its 180,000 miles and…
Here in Colorado we use Mag-Chloride which eats the finish off of things and ruins chrome cladding and the like, but it’s much more expensive than salt. In the midwest, where salt is cheap and plentiful, it’s hard to justify the additional expense.
This is the kind of Jalopnik we need and love!
I agree, I hope that she can make the transition well and progress quickly in trucks... I would have liked to see her in ARCA another season but who knows? Maybe taking the leap and learning to fly will be greatly beneficial for her and she will succeed. She certainly has the backing.
If you do some research on the matter you’ll find that Larson has been doing a lot behind the scenes to learn from this and it seems like he’s truly learned and changed for the better.
Or don’t be a cheap ass, and get your windows tinted.
This is why I love NASCAR. They maybe mostly running around in circles, but lots of passing, battles for the lead and wheel to wheel racing.
Because until about last year, there wasn’t any good angle kits for them. Without angle, it’s hard to manage 400+ hp when throwing it sideways. Now, there’s multiple corvettes in Drift Colorado alone.
They are all over here in Colorado for that. A friend just picked up a c5 Targa top for 7,500. Another got a c6 for under 10k. Don’t be afraid of a few miles!
Kinda what I’ve been saying for the past 5 or 6 years. They should have transformed Lincoln into an electric only brand with high end models to complete with Tesla.
