Is it me or does Ford sound like he has a bit of contempt for his scifi roles? Not just this, but Star Wars as well.

I’ve always loved stories about outcasts, people who for one reason or another don’t fit with the rest of society. I specially love the drama that comes with the desire to belong against the rejection of society, and how ultimately the outcast manages to find a place where they feel accepted.
Just so you know you made me cry a little. God, I miss sanctuary so much, that series was amazing...
Then what exactly is he complaining about? He didn’t believe in the studio, and taking into account his words I think he has a bit of contempt for video games, so as far as I’m concerned he has no one to blame but himself. Maybe that teaches him not to underestimate other forms of art.
Damn, I was really hoping that the critics were exaggerating. Iron fist was the series I wanted to see the most. I love the comics and all the mythology surrounding the living weapon and the cities. Guess they went a different route then. :(
I’ve never been able to finish pillars of eternity, Wasteland 2 or tyranny because as a general rule I found their stories pretty forgettable, and save from a few exceptions, the same happened with the companions.
On the other hand, I’m enjoying Torment: Tides of numenera like I’ve never enjoyed and RPG before. The…
Yep, pretty much first thing I thought. I’m even getting a vibe of someone somewhere seeing shadowrun and saying: “Quickly, how can we make a movie about this without, you know, paying the creators of the game?”
So, is there any cohesive theme behind Paragon’s champions? Or they just take a look at pop culture and say: ‘Hey, this looks cool, let’s make a champion of it’?
Wow, that village must be filled with the most insecure men and the most petty women in the world. Now that I think about it, I’m picturing an alternative story in which she goes full mad genius. One of the inventions of belle explodes because it’s sabotaged by the asshole villagers almost killing her. She survives,…
Finally, samurai Jack the way it was ment to be.
I’m sad, I was expecting so much more from the trailers. :(
This is exactly the first thing that came to my mind when I read the synopsis.
Hum...I really want to feel excited about this, but so far I can’t even muster a meh. I wonder why. :(
I would give you a million likes if I could.
Ugh...it does look good, and the premise is interesting, but the way they’re trying to fit game of thrones in it is so obvious. Do your own thing, not every fantasy series has to follow GOT.
I consider that more an insult than a victory taking into account how bad the cartoon is.
Is it wrong if I’m turned on by that scene?
As much as it saddens me I have to agree with you, the more videos and articles I read about its inconsistencies the more I realize what a mess it was.
It really feels lazy. It’s such a generic plot.
I have said it in other posts but I’m starting to get the impression that she’s writing more about the potter universe out of social pressure than genunine interest. That’s why she’s making so little effort. At least that’s what I want to believe.
