This is not true. I’m 8.5 months pregnant right now and looking for day care in my area (outside DC) and the minimum I can find is $200/week. Average is $250-300.

Actually it’s a trans/queer thing, came from that community. To avoid the genderization of Latino/a
I’m Brazilian/Uruguayan (now American) and I always feel weird calling myself Latina/Hispanic even though I very much am.
More than just bonds, the average American doesn’t understand the financial sector and how important it is to the overall economy. A half econ 101-half personal finance class in high school should be mandatory.
My husband and I have taught the dog to leave when things are getting steamy. The cat, on the other hand, will stare creepily and only move when our feet deign to get too close to her.
The city in the Amazon is *Manaus not Manus.
Hey, Springfield mall (now Town Center, natch) has improved by leaps and bounds since the renovation. We already have a Nordstrom Rack and soon we’ll even have a Uniqlo.
Agreed. I can usually find clothes that fit my curvy bottom just fine, but shirts and dresses that accommodate a larger bosom are so hard to find!
My husband and I are (VERY) far from retirement, but we still do the same (and we’re DC’ers too!). Went to Palm Springs a couple of years ago and fell in love.
I grew up in Vienna, which is ACTUALLY Pleasantville.
Spell check: *UrUguayan not UrAguayan.
Oh I have that! It smells like vanilla and tobacco in a strangely delightful way. I love it!
Clinique’s Happy was so popular when I was in college. I tried it (several times!) and smells like rotten oranges on my skin... so sad because I loved it on everyone else.
I have masses amount of fine hair that gets greasy after 12 hours and I’ve tried every dry shampoo. I’ve found that PSSST is the best, cheap and effective, just have to brush a lot to get the white streaks out.
I've traveled by myself to Istanbul, Amman/Petra, Cape Town, Lisbon, and Brussels. The first time is always hard, but just do research and try to plan your days and see what areas you should stick to when walking, etc. Best advice anyone ever gave me was just to walk like you know exactly where you're going. Try not…
I got this sample with Birchbox and HATED it. Didn't last, was totally smudged under my eye by the end of the day, so sad!

Yep, my husband works in the beer industry thanks to him I have tried and tasted more beers than the vast majority of people (I’m talking in the thousands here). And yet anytime I try to talk about beer to anyone (particularly when he’s not around) I get completely ignored. It’s ridiculous.
I feel the same way and I am more "traditionally" beautiful (just a smidge exotic). I think it depends on people's tastes though. To some, I'm just pretty, to others I'm gorgeous. So I just think of myself as above average pretty and go from there.
Other women tend to be the worst at this. A pretty girl walks in and she's immediate "competition" so god forbid we think of ourselves as pretty! Do I acknowledge my attractiveness and risk coming across as snobby/vain? Or do I just try to be humble about it? My husband says that I'm gonna have the same face and…
