All of this, and neither Google nor any add-on makers have given us color-coded Google Document comments :( Would really help when writing a novel; could code comments as 'joke', 'grammar/wording', 'plot', etc.

Setting 'dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled' to 'false' renders Google Documents unable to copy text to the clipboard, since it uses some strange method. Also, the 'dom.event.contextmenu.enabled' tip from another comment causes Firefox' native context menu to overlap Google's context menus in Maps and Documents.…
I've been using this site for five years and they've never done me wrong. The selection is pretty good, ordering is simple, the prices are insane (at $5, my last pair was cheaper than the shipping), and the glasses themselves are good quality and regularly last me three years.
Sorry, voted for Goggles4u and then saw that someone had recommended the same post 1 minute before. I'll move my vote to a reply to their post.
I set that to 'false' and restarted Firefox, but I still can't select text on fanfiction.net. It's not a big deal, though; I don't need to copy text from there often, and when I do, Google has some solutions. http://forums.darklordpotter.net/showthread.php…
As a teenager, I got a lot of value out of Dr. Phil's The Self Matters Companion (I don't think I ever read the actual book). It's a simple workbook that forces you to word things like 'what kind of person do I want to be' and 'what do I want out of life'. That's what I think of when I hear 'self help', which is why…
Sending out batches of query letters to agents, looking for a taker on my newest 'all my friends like it!' novel, Eden Green. (edit: Wow, hadn't noticed how awful this cover looks in high-res. Good thing I haven't been including it with queries . . .)
I set this to 'false', restarted Firefox, and was still unable to select text from fanfiction.net (but I think they're blocking selection via the css itself).
I tried pesto a few months back and am now addicted; I even planted a basil windowsill garden (hooray for apartments) so I could make it whenever I want. And I've never used pine nuts; because I'm cheap, I just add olive oil, dried minced garlic, and Parmesan cheese. Reading about something like 'pine mouth' makes me…
I'm so glad to find someone who feels the same way! Found footage/mockumentaries are my favorite genre, but I instantly penalize a work if it includes a soundtrack or distracting number of cuts. In this case, it also made no sense that the little girl kept switching the phone back and forth to show herself and then…
I always thought (and still think) that epic means "world changing."
My understanding is that the main character (with whom we spend the most time), protagonist (through whose eyes we experience the story), and hero (the force for good in a story) can actually be three different characters.
This is the first fifteen minutes of an obscure Canadian thriller called The Dark Hours.
I spent the last few minutes furiously googling, because I saw this last month and couldn't remember the name. 'movie pregnant baby stolen aliens cabin' didn't turn up anything, so I'm glad you found it.
Art of Manliness has an article on Bringing Back the Codpiece:
I've read as far as 'Do just one thing today.' and need to stop, scroll down here to the comments, and thank you. What you just described matched my recent (two weeks ago, in fact) firing EXACTLY. "None of that immediately deposits money in the bank."
This reminds me of a story Mom always tells, of the only apartment she and Dad ever stayed in. Long before I was born, they'd been married a few years and moved to Albuquerque because of his job. They got a cheap apartment, in which Mom would stay all day while Dad went to work.
