I see a cynical poster who is discounting the possibility that hey, maybe he is legitimately trying to get good info out there instead of trying to create sound bites. 

In a situation where we have weak national leadership here he is with a calm, effective voice giving good advice and solid information in a matter-of-fact way intended to be as helpful as possible.
