It's kind of funny, because in a lot of ways, I feel like I didn't know my dad at all before Facebook. I've been living in Canada for the past 10 years or so and they're all back home in Australia, so FB has been key in us all being able to keep in touch. But he's a pretty stoic guy in real life. As is so often the

I very seriously considered unfollowing my aunt altogether, but guilt got to me. Now I just block the pages they post from so I never have to see them in my feed again. Ignorance is bliss; that's what they taught me.

My dad and my aunt are both wont to repost mouth-frothing garbage not-even-veiled racist conservative memes on Facebook. I got so fucking sick and tired of it that I started replying with point-by-point rebuttals, fully sourced from official websites, showing them just how inflammatory and wrong they are.

One of the first replies to their apology tweet is "You will never hear a Democrat or liberal admit that." Conservatives win either way!

It could be a fun show, but Shkreli will just buy up all the tickets and try to sell them at a 5000% increase.

That, and the very mention of "blood-borne pathogens" and I'm all noped out.

Dude needs an interveention.

Yeah, that's my problem (with Netflix in general, really.) There's a tonne of stuff on my Watch list that I do genuinely want to see, but usually when I turn Netflix on, I'm in such a state of ennui that I just don't want to watch any of it.

I think it's worth asking: are people crazy before they come into contact with Michael Bay, or as a result of?

As in, Nic Cage in every part?

Oh, yah, I know. It just would have been cool if they'd gone that way; contracted out the actual animation, but held onto creative oversight so that it was close in quality and vision to what they would do/have done in the past with their own cinematic work. But c'est la vie!

On the surface* they were different enough that the minute or so I listened to, neither one evoked the other specifically. Sheeran's just sounded like every other one of his songs that I've ever heard, which sounds like every other saccharine, weepy acoustic pop song around right now. Everyone should just sue

Who do we talk to to make this happen for real?

Definitely! And even going back to their early games; the Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2 cinematics were pretty amazing for their day. Even now, I occasionally go back and YouTube the video of Arthas' homecoming. It's just a really effective piece of storytelling.

That white one looks more like a distressed Carebear. I feel sad just looking at it. :(

Blizzard's in-house game cinematics have always been among some of the best in the business, too. It seems a bit silly not to emulate that for a feature length foray.

In Canada. In the US, Amazon got Hannibal streaming rights iirc, but we don't have Amazon Prime video here.

That's exactly where I'm at with TWD right now. Pride won't let me quit, even when my brain is hostage to its lunacy.

I once got Fresh Prince of Bel Air "Because you watched Hannibal". Clearly there was a subtext to that show I missed when I was younger.

I still haven't finished Breaking Bad. :( I lost steam a few episodes into Season 5 and haven't gotten around to it again. Never even made it to Ozymandias. *turns in pop culture access card*
