The skyline was always a semi exclusive car though and the G35 it’s almost the opposite of that. Infiniti sold 3 times more cars every year than the total 12,000 or so R34s that were ever sold. And that doesn’t even count the thousands of G35s that were sold as Skylines outside of the US.

Yes. Apparently I have learned that today.

Simple Green can be diluted a lot more than that and still be effective. They recommend a heavy dilution for engine degreasing and they define “heavy” as 1:1 - 15:1. So you’re in the right range, but you could probably get away with diluting it more.

And the most important advice when using any cleaner is read the damn directions. Most window cleaners, for example, explicitly state that the glass should be cool to the touch. If you’re having issues with streaking, your windows are most likely too warm.

I’ve never heard someone compare a car to driving an old Volkswagen that many times before. I think that guy just wanted to make sure everyone knows he drives an old Volkswagen.

No they weren’t. They we’re exempt from laws that put restrictions on the amount of certain emissions, but never on the “thou shalt not modify” clauses.

The Clean Air Act had been in law since the 60s. The bit about not removing emission control devices has been around since an amendment in 1990.

Was that a Biodome quote?

Yeah that oughta do it.

Of course. As long as Time didn’t force them to sign something that prevents that as part of the show’s termination. Big corporations don’t do that often though, right? RIGHT?

That is a fair question. One which I may or may not want to know the answer to.

Yeah at this point I’m not really getting my hopes up. I mean the Miata is 2,300 lbs and, but costs a lot less. Hopefully all that extra money that the Elise costs goes into figuring out how to add lightness without dropping air bags.

Two words: Racing heritage. Think of it like a college football program that loses money for the school. People still go to the games and root for the team as long as they’re still fun to watch.

I just hope this means that the whole “we’re bringing the next Elise/Exige to America” rumor is coming true.

Agreed. It’s probably tough for someone as experienced as Raikkonen to have to deal with someone who uses, we’ll say, liberal interpretations of the rules.

Is someone a little butthurt? Calmate hombre. I’m just explaining the rules because people get their pitchforks out awfully quick on the internet. For example when Rosberg blocked out Hamilton on a completely legal move a few races back and the while internet lost their shit. People were going apeshit because they

Yeah it was an iffy move, but his block into the first corner a few Lagos later was a lot more dangerous and no question illegal since he was reacting in a braking zone.

After watching the race, I’d be more concerned about his block into the first corner. It was clearly a move made out of desperation and could have caused a nasty crash.

Drive pilot doesn’t contain the word auto. Pilot assist literally contains the word assist. And active lane control pretty clearly states that it’s just lane keeping.

I’m not implying they’re being misleading. I’m implying that they’re being ambiguous and pretending that’s not their problem. If I told my dad I was super gay with my buddy this weekend, the message he takes away from that is at least partially my responsibility.
