Once he committed the murder, sure; they didn’t want to get him out of the punishment. But anything slightly-short of murder, he absolutely wanted to get his son out of punishment.

This is a common response i get
The guys I mentioned changed their musculature build to be good at basketball; I know they wouldn’t excel at soccer AS IS, they would need to train for the skills as well as train their bodies to be built for more distance running and less for power.
Those “tall stiffs” are also getting play’d out of the NBA and teams are increasingly moving towards having as many 6'8" (hyper athletic guys) as they can get, as long as they have the necessary skills
yeah, but how else are these guys supposed to replace their blinker fluid?
it’s weird that I think being bigger/stronger/faster would be an advantage in soccer. Skill set matters in every sport, but so does athleticism. More of both is kinda the idea here.
Fully aware skill set is important in soccer. Nobody thinks you can just take an athlete from one sport and have them excel in another sport without having the learned the skills of the new sport. Many of the elite athletes in football/basketball would be able to cross over into other sports; given requisite training.
It’s not that our soccer players aren’t as athletic as their opponents; its that if we did have our best athletes playing soccer it WOULD make a difference and they would be able to out-athletic their opponents. Skill clearly is the difference between our men and other countries, but we could have a significant competi…
At first glance, this is quite the highlight.
Great post, solid name
The only sources that mattered where the ones who admitted “we don’t know shit; and neither does anybody else”
yeah, its probably a little quick.
I think Toronto should/will retire his number even if he leaves. Kawhi is 100% responsible for 100% of the Raptor’s Championships.
also, the grip on the ground might be different for each tire.
Durant joining changed them from an excellent team to a Historically Great team. They won 1 w/o him and 2 w/ him; they were better and more successful with him; he was the best player on their team. His only knock was that he wasn’t home-grown.
He got a 1 yr deal for $15.5 mil. If you are going to pay a player for only 1 yr, then you are going to have to overpay (in terms of average-annual-value). Yeah, Portis isn’t great, but he’s better then all those players that you compared him to. It says more about the Knicks then Portis, but Portis is probably the…
He won 2 Finals MVP’s while playing for them. MOST player’s who had their numbers retired by a team don’t have MORE then 2 finals MVP’s.
Sounds like cops are going to want a blood test for some unrelated crime and say, “well, he consented to the blood test because he got behind a wheel to drive; lets use the blood for this other crime we think he committed”
Also, don’t drive on a road/pathway that your vehicle is ill equipped to travel on.
I think the easy answer is just to find the best Porsche he can buy for that $200k. But honestly this is a bit outside my price-range of actual knowledge.
